This year’s period of the investigation dates from 1980 to 1994, exactly 15 years before Artissima made its debut; Disegni, a program focused on drawing, an artistic practice capable of capturing the immediacy of the creative process in the space between the idea and the finished work, a media that is now appreciated among the new generation of collectors; and Sound, a new section located outside the Fair at Officine Grandi Riparazioni (OGR), situated in a dramatic exhibition space.

An ex-industrial area of the XIX century restored in 2013, a cathedral of the Turinese industry, and a symbol of the city’s resilience and ability to transform its assets in new creative incubators – presents 16 sound projects selected by two curators, which focus on contemporary interdisciplinary practices. These projects use sound as a medium to transform space and perception, to reactivate memories, and to free the imagination.
